Newly elected MP for P.216 Hulu
Rajang thanked his supporters for giving him a record majority in the just
concluded PRU13 by defeating both his opponents from PKR and SWP respectively.
He also thanked all the constituents of Baleh and Belaga for giving him the
mandate to continue the legacy of Barisan Nasional in Hulu Rajang. He made the
remarks at the Thanks giving Dinner held at Rumah Ajai Nanga Senuang, Sg
Melinau Mujong, Kapit.
On another note Ugak advised
those who had gone against the government to come back and support the
government of the day- Barisan Nasional. It is only the Barisan Nasional who
not only promise but deliver all its promises. Unlike the oppositions who only
knows how to make promises but all empty promises. They (oppositions) will only
come when election is drawing near and left after that without leaving any
trace behind.
During PRU13 campaigning, the
oppositions mocked on the Baleh Bridge and presumed that it was only political
agenda by the BN and the BN government has proven them wrong and as we all can
see that construction of the bridge has started and expected to be completed in
30 months time. Not only that, the government is going to build the SCORE roads,
roads linking Kapit to Sibu, Nanga Mujong to Nanga Gaat, from Rh Juntan to
Nanga Sut, roads from Belaga town to Kapit town and many more developments once
the Baleh/Putai dam is being constructed.
Merely 100 days after his
victorious, Ugak had visited almost all the six polling districts in Baleh and the
same goes to Belaga and Asap.
“As the wakil rakyat, we must
serve the rakyat and this is the advice of the PM to all parliamentarians from
BN. Serve your constituents well and be prepare for the PRU14 from now” Ugak
said.
