“We want Ugak to represent us in P216 Hulu
Rajang”, said all those
who attended the “Belia Bersama Rakyat/Ngiling Tikai at Rumah Panggau, Nanga
Kemali, Baleh Kapit recently. The event was officiated by YB Alexander Vincent
ADUN N.43 Ngemah. Also present was a Political Secretary to CM; Wilson Nyabong
Ijang. Meanwhile Wilson Ugak Kumbong had earlier on paid a short visit, as he
was being summoned to Kuala Lumpur to accompany YB Tan Sri Dr James Jemut
Masing to attend the BN Majlis Tertinggi meeting slotted for today (29/6/2012).
This is his second trip to Kuala Lumpur this week, with YB Tan Sri to meet the
top brass of Barisan Nasional leaders; particularly YAB Perdana Menteri and his
Deputy (YAB DPM).
YB Alexander Vincent highlighted the importance
role of Youth to the society, and thus urged parents to instil the good values
in their children so that they may one day become good citizens of the country.
To the youths, he advised them to stay away from all ill social activities such
as taking drugs, “merempit”, “melepak “ and join street demonstration as these
are not our culture and way of solving problems. Go through the proper channel
and I can guarantee you that the government will listen and fulfil all its
promises; unlike the oppositions who only know how to criticize and put
condemnations only without solving the actual problems. As the PRU-13 is
drawing closer, he advised the people in Hulu Rajang to continue supporting the
candidate being put forward by the party; Wilson Ugak anak Ex-Penghulu Kumbong.
He believed that with his vast experiences gathered during his tenure as a
Political Secretary to CM- 20 over years will make Ugak the perfect choice to
represent the people in Hulu Rajang.
Meanwhile, Wilson Nyabong clarify that SWP is
not a BN friendly party as it claimed to be. This is evidence as to SWP is
trying to put candidates in all PRS/BN seats. He advised the voters in Hulu
Rajang to reject SWP and any opposition parties and give their fullest support
to the Barisan Nasional candidate in the person of Wilson Ugak.
The Youth Chief PRS Baleh, Bakat anak Gira
called upon all the voters in Baleh and Belaga to come together in support to
the BN candidate- Wilson Ugak. We must not let ourselves be divided by races
and origin as for over 20 years the people of Baleh had supported YB Datuk
Billy and now it is time that YB Datuk Billy and his supporters in Belaga to
render their undivided support to Wilson Ugak. Bakat is also very happy to note
that the support for Wilson Ugak has increase by folds especially among the
youth, women and men alike.
In responding to the calls, all those present
unanimously pledge their fullest support to Ugak to be their next MP (Member of
Parliament for P216 Hulu Rajang).
Among the activities being carried out were
Senamrobik 1 Malaysia, tele – match, fire fighting demonstration by Bomba
personnel and persembahan kebudayaan. The highlight of the event was Ngiling
Tikai.
