INGAT!!! UNDI PAKATAN PEMBANGKANG= Memberi Kuasa kepada Politik Luar Kuasi Sarawak!!!!

LIBATKAN ORANG ULU DALAM KABINET

SIBU: Ketua Pemuda Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Belaga, Kennedy Chuk Pai berharap wakil rakyat kaum Orang Ulu diberi pertimbangan sewajarnya untuk menyertai kabinet negeri.

SELANGAU: Dayak leaders who want more development in the rural areas were yesterday told the need to ensure that Barisan Nasional gets the people’s support at the impending general election.
Land Development Minister Tan Sri Dr James Masing said their aspiration to have rural areas see more development would meet resistance.
“There are always certain quarters willing to instigate the people, for instance, the landowners to shun land development scheme,” he said during the presentation of incentive payments to participants of Meruan Oil Palm Plantation at Rumah Nangkai Linggi in Ulu Maga Kanan near here here yesterday.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Alfred Jabu Numpang was the guest-of-honour at the function.
Also present were Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Joseph Entulu, Tamin assemblyman Joseph Mauh Ikeh, representative from Palmraya Pelita Meruan Plantation Sdn Bhd Thomas Tieng and Tuai Rumah Nangkai Linggi.
Masing said those up to no good would tell landowners that the schemes were part of the government’s ploy to rob them of their land.
“You know this is not true as the government is very sincere in wanting to develop the rural areas for the people,” he added.
He said the Meruan Oil Palm scheme, for one, was a joint venture deal between the landowners and the investor, Palmraya Plantation Sdn Bhd, where as the government through Land Custody and Development Authority was tasked to monitor the project.
Palmraya had spent more than RM100 million to develop the project on 6,575ha involving 797 landowners from 57 longhouses in the area, he said. It started in 2005 and the plantation has so far produced 194,820 metric tonnes of fresh fruit bunch.
Its yield was 11 metric tonnes per hectare last year while the total amount of incentive given out so far not less than RM13 million.
“I have been told by a representative of the longhouse chief, Jonathan Tubai, that prior to the scheme establishment their life was difficult.
“But now they are living quite comfortably with regular incomes.”
On politics, Masing said that Entulu would still be the BN candidate for Selangau this election.
He said Entulu had been working very hard for the people in Selangau, and deserved their support.
Jabu, who spoke later, said: “Masing and I have been appointed by the chief minister to look into the development plan for Ulu Kapit and Ulu Baram areas.
“I have been appointed chairman and Masing my deputy. We will come up with a proposal on how best to develop the areas.”
At the function, Jabu presented a mock cheque of RM3.74 million to the project Area Development Committee chairman Henry Ibat.

Tr Hulu Rajang Patut Ikuti Pendirian TR Tawi

Tawi berkata, beliau enggan menerima SWP berkempen di rumah panjangnya kerana kebanyakan kandungan ucapan penceramahnya ketika ber-ucap memburukkan peribadi wakil rakyat BN.

Minister: Kapit vital source of hydro power

LET THE PROGRAMME BEGIN: Awang tengah (third left) hits the gong to launch the seminar.

KAPIT: Kapit plays an important role in powering the state through hydro dam projects that will also produce electricity at competitive prices for industries in Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE).
Second Minister of Resource Planning and Environment Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan highlighted this at the launching of the ‘Seminar on
Investment and Industries in Sarawak’ at the civic centre here yesterday.
“We need cheap energy, Bakun Dam, Murum Dam are almost completed and there’s another potential – the Baleh Dam. The economic spin-off offers huge opportunities to the business community,” he added.
He also said the industries in Samalaju Industrial Park, within SCORE area, were not just mega projects but would be catalysts for small and medium industries (SMIs).
Acknowledging that SMIs form the backbone of the country’s industries and play a significant role in the country’s economy, he said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had launched a master plan for SMIs to help entrepreneurs expand their businesses and market their products locally and abroad.
Telling local entrepreneurs to grab the opportunities, he told them that the programme was an initiative by the Ministry of Industrial Development and several other government agencies to share with the business community the facilities, amenities and financial loans made available
Sharing the local people’s happiness that Kapit was now connected to the state electricity grid and had a new water treatment plant which was just completed, he told them that the government would develop the second phase of Bletih Mini Industrial Park at a cost of RM14 million as phase one of the park had all been taken up.
He concurred with Kapit MP Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi that there was a need to set up a skills training centre here to prepare youths for career opportunities in SCORE. He said he would discuss the suggestion with Yayasan Sarawak and instruct Land and Survey Department to identify a suitable piece of land for it.
Assistant Minister of Investment and Promotion Julaihi Narawi, Assistant Minister of Industrial Estate Development Datuk Peter Nansian, Assistant Minister of Public Utilities (Water Supply) Datuk Sylvester, Assistant Minister of Public Utilities (Electricity and Telecommunications) Datuk Dr Stephen Rundi, Assistant Minister of Culture and Heritage Liwan Lagang and Hulu Rajang MP Datuk Billy Abit Joo were among those present.

DALAM BANYAK2 JANJI MANIS #MANIFESTOBUKANJANJI TIADA SATU MANISNYA BAGI PENDUDUK HULU REJANG!!!

Abun Bersama Rafizi- Foto Paul Bian
Manifesto PR- Foto Abun Sui

Kalau beginilah caranya, PAKATAN SENDIRILAH AKAN TENGGELAM DI TASIK BAKUN.

Guests of honour were PS Wilson Nyabong Ijang and the PRS/BN candidate for Hulu Rajang; Wilson Ugak Kumbong.

Earlier on, in his welcoming speech, the PRS Youth Chief for Baleh; Michael Bakat Gira welcomed and thanked every one for coming. He further thanked every one who had rendered their assistances and co-operations to PRS Baleh and in particular to YB Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing during the previous elections and he asked and pleaded for their whole hearted support to Wilson Ugak Kumbong who will represent PRS/BN in the coming PRU13 replacing incumbent YB Datuk Billy Abit Joo who is not re-nominated by PRS to defend the P216 hulu Rajang seat.

Wilson Ugak Kumbong conveyed his utmost appreciations to all the Headmasters, Senior Assistants, Department Heads for all their supports throughout the while when he served as the Political Secretary to the YAB Chief Minister of Sarawak until his current stint as Private Secretary to YB Minister of Land Development Sarawak in a time spin of over 20 years. He thanked YB Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing for having faith in him and recommended him to be the candidate for Hulu Rajang with the approval of the PRS Election committee. He promised to do his best to serve the people in line with Prime Minister Slogan “People first action now”, “Janji ditepati”. Ugak also called all present to approach him to give feedbacks on current issues pertaining to the better welfare of the constituents for the benefit of everybody as them(Headmasters and department heads) being front liners play vital roles. On another note, Ugak called on YB Datuk Billy to help him retain the Hulu Rajang seat or at least repay Ugak a favour for Ugak had been Billy’s Election Director of Operations for the past 5 terms.

Meanwhile PS Wilson Nyabong Ijang touched on the current issues that needed urgent attentions and clarifications. Issues like RFS and RK which broadcast issues that try to tarnish the good image of our leaders by portraying them as liars, corrupted and so forth. These two stations will try to instil hatred among listeners whom majority are living in rural areas that do not have access to proper TV broadcast, internet access and printing media.

Most rural folks will believe what they heard and this tactics is being used by oppositions to not other than to fish votes in elections. If we (government servants) do not know the current issues and play our part by telling the rural folks that all the issues being broadcast were mere lies to tarnish our leaders and to instil hatred amongst ourselves.” I urged you all to play your part as front liners to explain the real situation and lead them back to support the government of the day” said Nyabong. He also talked at length on the NCR issues and gave advice that after the Perimeter survey has been carried out, the second phase will be carried out where the individual lots will be allocated accordingly. Please do not listen to opposition who only knows how to criticize and complaints only and they (oppositions) do not have better solutions.
On Ugak’s candidacy, as far as PRS is concerned, his name (Ugak) is the sole candidate for P216 Hulu Rajang and as thus he is very confident that Ugak will be the BN/PRS candidate for Hulu Rajang to replace incumbent YB Datuk Billy Abit Joo. Ugak@Rh Bansa- Majlis Pemimpin Bersama Rakyat

IMG_1632.JPG
KAPIT:7-2-2013. Rightly after being officially announced by YB Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing as the legitimate candidate BN/PRS candidate for P216 Hulu Rajang, Wilson Ugak Kumbong sprang into action by visiting Rumah Bansa at Nanga Sepulau for a "Majlis Pemimpin bersama Rakyat" and also to launch the BR1M 2.0 launching ceremony for those longhouses below Nanga Entawau to Rumah Sana Batang Baleh. Earlier That day, YB Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing had launched the BR1M 2.0 presentation at Rh Laso Nanga Entawau.

Upon arrival, Ugak and his entourage were given a traditional welcome by Tuai Rumah Bansa anak Langga and his "anembiaks". Tuai Rumah Bansa was really relieved that finally they came to know that Ugak will be the BN/PRS candidate after the announcement by YB Tan Sri earlier on that day at a BR1M 2.0 presentation ceremony at Nanga Entawau as for all the while the people were confused as to who is the legitimate candidate for both YB Datuk Billy (incumbent) and Wilson Ugak both claimed to be in contention.

Later on at the dialogue,  Ugak thanked YB Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing for having faith in him to be the candidate and promised to do his utmost to serve the constituents of Hulu Rajang which is as big as the state of Pahang in size. He appealed to all the BN supporters to close rank and help him retain the seat in the coming election with flying colours. Ugak also conveyed his gratitude and thanks to YB Datuk Billy and even extend the olive branch so that both they can have a smooth transition of power and YB Datuk Billy as the incumbent for 22 over years will help him(Ugak) in his quest to deliver and retain the seat for BN/PRS.
IMG_1680.JPG
Wilson Nyabong Ijang; a Political Secretary to YAB the chief Minister of Sarawak in his speech also explained to the confusion that arose as both YB Datuk Billy and Ugak are both actively moving on the ground visiting constituents; but on different programmes, dates and venues. Nyabong explained that YB Datuk Billy as the incumbent is duty bound to carry on distributing the touch point as being assigned by PM to him until Parliament is dissolved. So concurring with the explanation by YB Tan Sri PRS President, he advised constituents to stick together and support the BN candidate in the person of Wilson Ugak Kumbong. "Don't panicked and be surprise by the big turnout attending Datuk Billy's functions as those coming are those who need help and Datuk Billy as their incumbent is duty bound to help each and every Malaysian citizen through the touch point allocations allocated to him" "The numbers does not reflect the support for him(Datuk Billy) to be re-nominated as the people in Hulu Rajang will listen and back any candidate put forward by the ruling coalition as in the past history has proved this. On another note, he explained that leaders come and go; so to all YB Datuk Billy supporters he appeal that they will close ranks and work together for the success of the new candidate(Ugak) in the coming PRU-13. Stop listen to lies being mooted by oppositions as they only know how to give promises and sweet talks but never ever fulfill their promises. Unlike them, we in the BN will always fulfill what we have promised and today it is evidence by the distributing of BR1M 2.0 . Since PM YAB Dao Seri Najib has in office, he has announced more than 100 touch points(113 to be exact)  to help the rakyat and so I urged all the people of Malaysia to vote for BN and give YAB Dato Seri Najib a resounding victory to continue his agendas .
A huge crowd turn up at the function which was organized by PRS Youth Baleh and BiroTata Negara of PM Office.

UGAK HAS THE FULL SUPPORT OF THE SG GAAT CONSTITUENTS

IMG_1761.JPG
KAPIT:19-2-2013. Ugak’s announcement as the BN/PRS candidate for P216 Hulu Rajang was received with joys for the people of Sungai Gaat; a tributary of the Mighty Baleh River of where Ugak comes from.
Their happiness and joys were demonstrated during a dialogue session held at Rumah Melintang , Nanga Sebiro prior to the BR1M 2.0 handing ceremony the following day. A total of 15 tuai rumahs expressed their joys and gratitude to the President of PRS; YB Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing for nominating Wilson Ugak Kumbong; a Sungai Gaat very own son to be the candidate for BN/PRS replacing incumbent YB datuk Billy Abit Joo. Not only expressing their happiness and gratitude, they vowed and promised to throw their fullest support to Ugak in the coming PRU and to reject the opposition from entering their strong bastion – Sungai Gaat by all means.
Ugak; who hailed from Rumah Melintang Tukau was speechless by the support shown and nevertheless he thanked them for their gestures and promised his best to deliver his services. He (Ugak ) also thanked the PRS President and the party (PRS) for nominating him and not forgetting his long time friend; incumbent MP for Hulu Rajang YB Datuk Billy Abit Joo) for his contributions to the constituents of Hulu Rajang. He advised the people in Sungai Gaat to rally behind BN and to reject Oppositions or Independent candidates in the coming PRU13 as they only knows how to instil hatred and politics of sweet talking but never fulfil promises being made. Unlike them, the government of the day (BN) will deliver all the promises being made and this is evidence by the distribution of BR1M 2.0 that is ongoing nationwide. He further urged the people to continue supporting the government led by YAB Dato Seri Mohd Najib and return him a big victory in the coming PRU.
Wilson Nyabong Ijang; a political secretaries to YAB CM of Sarawak and also in his capacity as the Information chief of PRS clarified some misunderstanding amongst the people regarding the true chosen candidate representing BN/PRS in Hulu Rajang as both Ugak and YB Datuk Billy claimed to be the legitimate one. The party (PRS) through the Election Selection Committee headed by YB Tan Sri party Presiden himself had unanimously nominated Ugak candidacy and only one name was submitted; not only for Hulu Rajang but for the other 5 seats being held by PRS (Incumbents being re-nominated).  Nyabong also explained the same confusions while in Rumah Bansa Nanga Sepulau recently. As for Ugak’s candidacy; he personally thinks it is the right time as Ugak is an experience politician; having involved in politics for almost 30 over years with vast experiences under his belt. Furthermore a place like Hulu Rajang needs a young, far sighted vision, energetic and approachable leader who can serves all people from all walks of life and Ugak is blessed with these criteria. Touching on BR1M 2.0, it shows that the present government is trying to share the nation’s wealth by distributing the benefits back to the people to ease them of their burdens due to the rise of costs of living as a result of the uncertainty of the world economic. He also gave example how the subsidy being paid by the government has benefitted everyone. A tank of LPG still cost RM27.00 in Sungai Gaat; the same price as in Kapit town. If not due to subsidy it might cost RM45.00 or even more.
Both Ugak and Nyabong was very pleased by what they saw while cruising along the Sungai Gaat;  as BN and PRS flags were flying high at almost every longhouses and this shows the peoples’ approval and support for BN/PRS .
The dialogue was organised by PRS Youth Baleh Division and the JKKK Rh Melintang Ng Sebiro.
